HOA Dues

To support the services provided by the community such as snow clearing of the street, refuse removal, lawn maintenance of the common turf area, street light power and maintenance, repair and replacement of the streets, curbing and sidewalks.

• Where do I send my HOA dues?

Our management company at P.O box 1130, Germantown, MD 20875

• Can I pay my HOA dues over the phone or internet?

The community has not established a way to provide this service. Your bank may provide this service.

• Can I pay my HOA dues by credit card?

Not at this time, checks are only acceptable form of payment

Payments not received by late date will be charged a late fee. Continued non-payment will result in a lien being placed against your property, legal collection action, and loss of parking privileges.

What is the deadline to pay HOA dues without a penalty fee?

The fifteenth of every month.

Fifteen dollars ($15)

An application to the HOA to upgrade or change the exterior of your property.

Any additions or changes in materials, colors, or appearance to the exterior of your property.

The property owner(s) and nearest affected neighbors.

Send completed ACR to the management company with all required attachments for HOA review. You should obtain a response within 45 days.

What happens if I don’t send on Architectural Change Request?

You may be required to return the property to its pre-change condition

• Can I paint my house any color I want?

Yes, if you can obtain the approval of the HOA.

• What if the existing color is no longer available?

You should apply to the HOA for a color of your choice that is close to the existing color.

Solicits and awards contracts for the maintenance and repair of the community property including lawn care, refuse collection, and snow plowing. Enacts and enforces community rules. Prepares and adopts the annual operating budget.


• Are there any facilities and furnishings provided by HOA?

No, The pool is part of the Lake Federation

• What are the responsibilities of the HOA?

To maintain the common areas of the community in accordance with the legal documents of the community and applicable laws.

What land does the HOA own?

The streets, sidewalks, and turf within and around the homes.

• How can I join the HOA board?

Complete the nomination form mailed in February of every year to have your name listed on the ballot.

When are elections held?

Members of the Board of Directors are elected at the annual meeting held in April.

When and where are the HOA meetings?
The Board of Directors meet at 7:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month in the Upcounty Regional Services Center.

Who should I contact if someone park in my reserve space?

Call G&G Towing at 301- 762-6023. You must sign acknowledging the spaces I your before the vehicle in violation can get towed. Refer to parking policy you were mailed.

Who should I do if someone park obstructing my reserve space?

T-bone parking is illegal, call towing or police?

• Can I give my parking permit to my overnight guest and park my vehicle without a parking pass in my reserve space?

No, every vehicle in Meadows at North Lake property must have a parking permit display inside the vehicle.

• Will I still get my parking permits if I am late on my HOA dues?

You can asked a neighbor with one vehicle to lend you their second pass or you can also rent parking spaces located by the tennis courts

• How do I get my parking permits?

Parking permits are distribute yearly or every 6 months via postal mail as long as you are in good stading with your dues and are not in violation of an HOA rule.

We have two weekly trash pickups, Tuesday and Friday.

• When is recycling pickup?

Recycling pickup is ONLY on Tuesdays

What if I have bulk trash to be pickup?

We do not have a contract with our trash collector for bulk trash pick up.

You need to bring your bulk trash to the Shady Grove Waste Station.
